First Eucharist and Reconciliation
During their second grade year, students prepare for the sacraments of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation. To help support the students and parents along this journey, St. Matthias offers sacrament preparation classes in addition to the religious education provided in their Catholic school or in the Christian Formation program.
These additional classes help students to focus solely on the given sacrament. In each preparation for each sacrament, students and parents are given a workbook that is to be completed as a team, with parents helping to guide their children along the path to each sacrament, and students and parents attend large group meetings.

If your child is beyond second grade and would like to prepare to receive their First Eucharist or First Reconciliation, contact the parish office (414-321-0893)
Finally, no family, parent or child will be turned away from our Formation programs because of financial constraints. If you are in need of financial assistance to help cover the cost of registration in any of our programs, please complete the application for Endowment (Coming Soon). Turn in the form along with the registration form and a member of our staff will contact you.
