Safeguarding All of God’s Family

The goal of the Safeguarding All of God’s Family program is to protect our children and all in the church family from sexual abuse and related dangers.

At St. Matthias, we strive to ensure that our environment is safe for all of our parishioners, students, adults, and community members. To support this mission, following Archdiocesan policy, we require all members of our staff, faculty, and all of our volunteers to receive training in the Safeguarding All of God’s Family program through the Archdiocese.

This training is provided at various times and is required for all those working with youth. Below you will find a link to the upcoming training opportunities within the area.

Additionally, each staff member, volunteer, and faculty member needs to complete the Safeguarding All of God’s Family background check and code of ethics form. Upon completion of the training and paperwork, we request that all participants kindly submit their certificate and paperwork to the parish office. Thank you for taking a proactive step in helping to create a welcoming, nurturing, and safe atmosphere for all those in our faith community.
