Pastor

Fr. Dave coordinates and serves the entire parish as its pastor. He promotes the parish mission and all of our ministries. He collaborates with the pastoral staff and Parish Council primarily, but also with every dimension of parish life in general. His concern is the welfare of each parishioner and the whole community.

Associate Pastor

As Associate Pastor, Fr. Paul assists with Masses, baptisms, weddings, anointings and funerals along with all other sacramental and prayer ministries.

Director of Administrative Services

Mike manages the administrative needs of the parish.  In this capacity, he is responsible for finance, human resources, facilities management, computer and information technology, and the parish cemetery.  Mike serves as the staff liaison to the Administrative Services Committee, Buildings and Grounds Committee, Human Resources Committee, Endowment Committee, and Cemetery Committee.

Director of Liturgical Music

Dave plans music for all parish Sunday, holyday, vespers, prayer services and sacramental celebrations. He is the primary accompanist for all these events and director of the Adult Choir and Adult Handbells, cantors and instrumentalists. Dave also supervises the various youth ensemble directors: Youth Choir, Jr. High Handbells, and High School Handbells.

Principal

Susan is responsible for promoting a faith filled Catholic community committed to strong academic standards and Christian values. Our students are engaged in higher level functioning activities in an effort to foster growth and excellence in all areas of academics. She also oversees an educational staff of highly qualified professionals who are dedicated to excellence of meeting the needs of all children.

Director of Development and Youth Ministry

Kari joined the pastoral staff in January 2009.  She coordinates all aspects of development, including stewardship of time, talent and treasure, volunteer information, grant writing, matching gifts, school alumni development, the Catholic Stewardship Appeal, strategic planning, and marketing.  Kari also coordinates the Safeguarding All God's Family training.  Her Youth Ministry duties include High School Christian Formation, Confirmation and F.E.E.T (Faith Empowering, Engaging Teens).

Parish Nurse

Wanda is an Aurora Parish Nurse working in a combined position with St. Matthias and Our Lady of Lourdes parishes.  She has been in this position since September of 2008.  She has established a Health and Wellness Ministry Committee.  The team has members from both parishes.  She provides and promotes health and wellness through education, health counseling, giving referrals, and empowering the congregation to be better advocates for their own mental, physical and spiritual wellness.  Wanda can be contacted at 414-545-4281.  Visit the Parish Nurse page.

Director of Children's Ministry

Mary is responsible for the Christian Formation Sunday program for children K through 8th grade, including recruitment and training of catechists.  She oversees sacramental preparation of children for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, as well as Liturgy of the Word with Children.  Mary serves as the staff liaison to the Lifelong Faith Formation Committee.

Permanent Deacon

David was ordained a deacon on June 3, 2000. He oversees the Deaf Community of St. Matthias Parish. He also maintains contact with Deaf people throughout the Archdiocese.  He leads prayer groups and Bible study, and also provides service to the Deaf Community at St. Andrew Parish in Delavan, Wisconsin.

Director of Liturgy

Jeff is responsible for all liturgy planning and coordination, including training liturgical ministers (altar servers, Eucharistic ministers, lectors, ushers).  He is the staff liaison to the Spiritual Life and Worship Committee.
