All parish offices, with the exception of the school, are located in the Parish Office building, formerly the rectory. These offices are accessible through the main entrance of the building facing Beloit Road.

A secretary is on duty at the main entrance to welcome visitors and respond to spontaneous visits. Meetings with any member of our pastoral staff are best arranged by calling ahead. However, every effort is made to deal with questions, concerns and needs you may have in a timely manner.

Regular business hours at the Parish Office are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Volunteers are often on duty from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays. (Call ahead during the day to confirm this if you need to stop in.) Volunteers also staff the office on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. until noon. After hours, all phone calls are answered by the answering service. Emergency calls are forwarded to one of our parish priests whenever the office is closed.

The Parish Office also houses several meeting rooms.

DEPARTMENT OF LITURGY

This department is the center for the Spiritual Life and Worship of the parish as well as the hub of music ministry. All liturgical celebrations: The Lord's Day Eucharist, Liturgy of the Hours, Sacramental Celebrations (Baptisms, Marriage, Reconciliation, etc.) and funerals are coordinated through this office, which also prepares our weekly worship aids. All liturgical ministries are also coordinated through this office.

DEPARTMENT OF PASTORAL MINISTRY

As one of the offices in the parish that works in the area of education and faith formation, Pastoral Ministry exists to serve the general pastoral ministry needs of the adult community of St. Matthias in their quest for a deeper knowledge and experience of how God is present and active in their lives. This office is responsible for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) and our evangelization efforts.

DEPARTMENT OF YOUTH MINISTRY

All formational programs and events: spiritual and social for persons 14-18 years of age are coordinated by the Office of Youth Ministry. Please contact the Director of Youth Ministry for specific information or if you have any questions.

DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

This department oversees the development and management of our parish finances and budget, the cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and grounds and the operation of the parish cemetery.
