Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863.  He was the oldest of his 5 other siblings.  Early on, he began to dislike his farm work and became very intrigued by machines and other mechanical objects.  Ford left home at age 16 and became an apprentice machinist in Detroit.  Henry married a woman named Clara Bryant in 1888.  He ran a sawmill in   order to make money for his family.
