Mrs. Katherine Jacobson

My name is Kathy Jacobson and I am thru Resource Center Coordinator and Supportive Consultant for St. Matthias Parish School. Recognizing that every child is unique, my primary goal is to reach those students who struggle academically. Working cooperatively with classroom teachers, these students receive small group instruction in mathematics. Some students also benefit from one-on-one tutoring in academic areas that they find challenging.

As Supportive Consultant, I collaborate with teachers and parents in identifying students with special needs. To better accommodate these students, Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) have been developed. These child-specific intervention plans provide accommodations and modifications to enable the children to be successful academically.
