Ms. Michelle Neddersen

Hello! My name is Michelle Neddersen. I am the Art teacher at St. Matthias and would like to share a little about myself.  This school year will be my third year teaching at St. Matthias.  Along with teaching, I also work in the St. Matthias Parish Office on Fridays acting as secretary.  I received my teaching certification from Carroll College in 2004 and worked as a therapist for Autistic children before coming to St. Matthias.

I continue to learn so much about our students at St. Matthias and I’m very excited to get to know our new students.  I hope to make every learning experience insightful, interesting, and fun within a classroom that embraces the values of the Catholic faith.  I believe art is a great way for children to express themselves, to learn to be creative and improve their problem solving skills.  These skills can then be applied to any aspect of their lives.

The days I am teaching include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  During this time the students will be creating two and three-dimensional artwork using a variety of media.  Stop in anytime to visit!  I am looking forward to the new school year and I’m sure it’ll be a great year with a great art program.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
