Scouting programs at Saint MatthiasCub Pack 592 at St. Matthias is an organization which is dedicated to the spiritual and physical development of boys age 6-11 years. Den meetings are held two to four times a month. Monthly pack activities are offered along with the annual Blue and Gold Dinner and Cub Scout picnic. Boy Scout Troop 592 is a dynamic organization dedicated to teaching young men leadership, participating citizenship, and physical and moral fitness. Through a vigorous outdoor program the scouts learn to care for themselves, to set goals, and reach to achieve them in strength and confidence. Sixth through twelfth grade boys are invited to join in monthly campouts and experience the adventures and challenges only Scouting can bring. Girl Scouting was organized to help girls make new friends, learn camping skills, explore the outdoors, help in the community and work on special interest projects. Girls 5 to 17 years of age are welcome to join programs from Daisy Scouts to Seniors. Adult volunteer leaders help guide the girls in their growth. Scout Room CalendarThe scout room can be used for Troop and Den meetings. Currently it is unavailable on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. If you need to use the room it is your responsibility to get the key from the parish office during normal business hours and to return the key when you are done.
