Mrs. Mary Topp

Welcome to Room 100, homeroom to thirty-two of my seventh graders. Our schedule keeps us so busy we usually cannot believe it is 3:00 and time to go home!

Our day begins and ends in prayer. Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. we read about the church (liturgy and worship) and use a Visions supplement for religion, read literature and improve reading concepts, delve into American History with Mr. Heinecke, practice algebra skills with Mr. Wood, and study spelling and English skills with Miss Trainor. I teach science to the seventh and eighth graders. Seventh graders will learn about Planet Earth and the universe, and the eighth graders will learn about heredity, the human body and chemistry. The eighth graders can’t wait to dissect something!

My classroom is a place where students can expand their knowledge. I try to motivate my students to do their very best, and I have high expectations.

I look forward to an exciting year full of learning and spiritual growth.
