The Pillar of Prayer
The St. Matthias Stewardship Committee is pleased to introduce our latest campaign centered on the Four Pillars of Stewardship. We begin this journey by focusing on Prayer.
In his Sunday homily, Fr. Jerry challenges us to move beyond routine and become truly intentional in our prayer lives. This is the first step in a four-month series that will also cover Hospitality, Formation, and Service. These pillars are designed to help our parish move from abstract belief to active discipleship.
Prayer changes us and brings us into a deeper understanding of our faith and what Jesus wanted from and for us.
Our mission at St. Matthias is to develop us as disciples through Stewardship. Through prayer, we become aware and grateful of God’s gifts. This gratitude spurts a generous and sharing heart.
