In second grade, students reach a beautiful milestone as they prepare for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. To support families during this holy time, St. Matthias offers a specialized preparation program that complements the religious education provided in our Catholic school and Christian Formation classes.

·       The prep cycle is a program that lasts from October until its completion at the First Eucharist Mass in May

·       In this Course, formation will be completed through a two-part process. One part will consist of fulfilling the required reading by doing at home formation with your child. The second part will be attending as many of the in-person mini-sessions for each Sacrament as it is possible for you and your child.
