Sleeping Bag Ministry

Warm Hearts, Warm Hands: Join Our Sleeping Bag Ministry
Help us provide warmth and dignity to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Every year, our team of dedicated volunteers creates and delivers over 100 handmade sleeping bags to local shelters and outreach groups.

  • When: Join us one Saturday a month (typically the first Saturday) from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM in Steiger Hall.

  • No Sewing Needed: We create 7-foot square "quilted" sections using layered blankets tied together—no needle and thread required!.

  • Family Friendly: This is a perfect service opportunity for school-aged children, Boy/Girl Scout troops, and families.

How to Support Us:
We are always in need of gently used blankets, sheets, mattress pads, comforters, and neckties (used to secure the rolled bags). Donations can be dropped off at the parish or brought to our monthly meetings.
