St. Ben’s Meal Program

Feed the Hungry with St. Matthias at St. Ben's
Six times a year, our parish family unites to serve those in need downtown at St. Ben’s Community Meal. While St. Ben’s serves an average of 340 guests daily, that number often swells to over 500—including many children—at the end of the month when family budgets are tight. 

You can help by:

  • Cooking from Home: Prepare hot vegetable casseroles, desserts, or sides using our provided recipes.

  • Providing Supplies: Purchase fresh fruit or canned goods for the meal.

  • Transporting Meals: Drop your food at our central location near St. Matthias, and our team will deliver it downtown.

  • Serving Takeaway Meals: On the second Friday of every month, St. Matthias provides brown bag takeaway meals to guests.
